The pole is 225 feet above ground and 25 feet below ground. The pole costs $45,000.
167 cubic feet of concrete around the base of the flag pole costs $11,500.
The flag has been displayed in numerous states and dozens of events. States include; North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Up State New York, Mississippi, Louisiana, Missouri, Illinois and others.
The flag teams who travel with the flag are truly dedicated volunteers and all money raised goes toward United States Veterans projects.
The project began in 1993 with the delivery of the first flag, since then 8 flags have been purchased at an average cost of $7,500 each.
The project was dedicated to all who has or is still serving in the Armed Forces of the United States of America.
